WHO WE ARE AND
OUR AIMS
Here at Cadzow Community Corps we are a non profit organisation  based within the grounds of Chatelherault Country Park. Our aim is to help promote the mental, physical health and wellbeing of our members through growing conserving and working with natural materials.

Home: Who We Are
At Cadzow Community Corps the work we do is aimed at providing a safe environment for people feeling socially isolated with ongoing mental and physical health problems.

Every Wednesday we hold a green woodworking session.Â
We are fortunate to have tuition provided by a highly skilled and experienced woodsman, (Robert Louth)
So far we have made spoons, kuksa, ladles, spatulas, shrink pots, also turning spindles on our pole lathe.
For all our green fingered friends we have the facilities to grow produce all year round, we have many things growing in our polytunnels and external bedding boxes. From potatoes to cucumbers there is much going on. All our members are free to take home any harvested crops for their own consumption.

Here at Cadzow community corps being based in the heart of Chatelherault country park we are naturally involved with conservation and woodland management projects. Working in partnership with South Lanarkshire Council's Countryside and Greenspace Service and Leisure Trust. We also work on other sites throughout our local communities.
